After graduating with honors from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a degree in English, Asteria joined the military. The first leg of her journey was with the US Navy where she received numerous awards. After four years of service, she transferred to the US Air Force. She received an honorable discharge in 2009. She also spent years working for the US Bankruptcy Court in Phoenix and later transferred to the Northern District of California in San Francisco. Today, Asteria is a licensed insurance broker for Benefits Broker, Inc. and dedicated to serving her clients in today's ever-changing market.
